The Crawfordsville Wednesday Study Club met at the Washington Hy-Vee for lunch on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at noon. Members present were Ruth Erwin, Rachel Koehler, Debbie Lowe Janice Twinam and guest, Margaret Patterson.
During a brief business meeting it was decided to purchase a book in memory of Marilyn Rees at the Winfield, IA library. Some book briefs were given and books shared for others to read.
Following lunch, the group dispersed to the UP Home for some social time. Rachel shared two articles about how classical and other personal favorite music can affect our brain functions and mental health. The group then attended the very enjoyable special piano duet program given by "The Campus Chics"---Ruth Erwin and Dorothy Koehler. The program included a sing-along to the tunes played by the duo.
The next meeting will be April 27, 2024 hosted by Ruth, the time and place to be announced.
