WAYLAND ? Evangelist Mike Manor will be conducting meetings March 2-7 at Independent Bible Church in Wayland.

Manor is an accomplished speaker, musician and song writer. He has traveled the United States preaching and encouraging people in their walk with the Lord.

March 2, the public is invited to Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., the service at 10:30 a.m. and a free fellowship dinner at noon. Evening services will be held at 7 p.m. each day March 2-7.

A nursery will be available, and special music is planned at each meeting.

BATAVIA ? Batavia United Methodist Church will host a creamed chicken and biscuit meal March 1.

The meal will include a variety of salads and desserts.

Carry-out meals will be available beginning at 4 p.m. The meal will be served from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

A freewill offering will be collected.
