Cultural contribution award nominations due

The Fairfield Cultural Alliance is now asking for nominees for its 2016 Cultural Contribution Award.

The FCA?s annual Cultural Contribution Award is given to recognize groups or individuals who help enhance the quality of life in Fairfield by creating, directing, or promoting artistic and/or cultural activities, works of art, or events in Fairfield for that calendar year.

?Fairfield abounds with people who make it their business to create art, music, entertainment, and cultural education and experience, ? say members of the FCA board. ?We want to know who you think this year?s worthy award winners should be. Please send us your picks.?

Nominations should include the names of the individuals or organization, plus a few sentences about why they are deserving of the recognition. Include your name and contact information, and that of the nominee.

Nominations are due by Nov. 7.

The FCA?s Cultural Contribution Award will be presented at the annual FCA Networking Gala at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at ICON Gallery. All interested in supporting creative expression in the community are invited to the party.
