CANTON, Mo. ? Jeffrey Pace of Farmington was among Culver-Stockton College?s students, alumni, faculty, staff and community members who spent a recent Saturday volunteering for the fifth annual Extreme Dome Makeover.

More than 400 volunteers participated in the event, sprucing up 13 public areas and private residences in Canton, Mo.

Volunteers spent the day in various activities, such as painting, landscaping and cleaning.

Extreme Dome Makeover provides the opportunity to introduce incoming students to the community, their classmates, advisors and neighbors.

From Hillsboro: Ashley Griffith, Bachelor of Science, psychology, interdisciplinary studies, Honors Program member, summa cum laude.

From Des Moines: Jessica Schuring, Doctor of Philosophy, economics.

WEST BURLINGTON ? Lacey Beall of Mount Sterling was awarded an Associates of Arts degree after completing graduation requirements at the end of the summer 2013 term at Southeastern Community College.
