Curray to celebrate 75th birthday
Thomas D. Curray of Ankeny, formerly of Batavia, will celebrate his 75th birthday Friday.
Mr. Curray was born July 1, 1936, to Geo and Gladys Curray of Batavia.
He graduated from Batavia High School in 1954 and then served in the United States Army for two years. Mr. Curray then worked 31 years at John Deere Works in Des Moines. After retirement, he worked on his family?s farm in Batavia.

Thomas D. Curray of Ankeny, formerly of Batavia, will celebrate his 75th birthday Friday.
Mr. Curray was born July 1, 1936, to Geo and Gladys Curray of Batavia.
He graduated from Batavia High School in 1954 and then served in the United States Army for two years. Mr. Curray then worked 31 years at John Deere Works in Des Moines. After retirement, he worked on his family?s farm in Batavia.
Mr. Curray has sisters in the area: Phyllis Pumphrey of Fairfield, Jean Haile of Packwood and Pearl Neil of Batavia. He has one daughter: Kimberly Hochstetler of Winterset, and one son: Thomas A. Curray of Des Moines.
He has three living grandchildren, one deceased; and one great-grandson.
