Dairy Alumni Showmanship Class planned for Washington County Fair

Preparations are underway for the 4th annual Washington County Fair Dairy Alumni Showmanship Class. It will be held on Tuesday, July 20, after the dairy show at the Washington County Fair. All 4-H Dairy Alumni showman are invited to participate. This is open to 4-H alum from across the state.

During the Alumni Dairy Showmanship Class, each participant will be provided with a 4-H or FFA member’s cow or heifer. Showmen will be asked some basic dairy questions and will be judged on their showmanship skills. This event is a great way to support the dairy project, as well as acquaint current 4-H’ers with past 4-H’ers.
