Davis family welcomes new granddaughter

Alayna Marie McClain was born Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 to Angela Davis and Chris McClain of Columbus Junction. She arrived at 4:28 p.m. at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics weighing 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 21.5 inches long.

She was welcomed by her big brother, Chayse, 18 months old. Scott and Jeanne Davis of Crawfordsville are local grandparents.

Fall Rummage Sale

A reminder that the Fall Rummage Sale at the United Church of Crawfordsville will be held starting Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. -6 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 30 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 31 from 8 a.m.- noon.

Household items, clothing of all sizes, bedding, toys, kitchen items, books, some furniture and much miscellaneous. Everything will be offered for a free-will offering and proceeds will go to Missions.

Upcoming Events

The United Church of Crawfordsville will have a Potluck Supper beginning at 5 p.m on Sunday evening, Sept. 1. The annual Harvest Supper and Auction will be held on Saturday evening, Nov. 9.
