Davison family reunion held

The 80th annual Davison family reunion was held Aug. 7, at the Washington Community Center, with 20 attending.

President Larry Swailes welcomed those attending, with Ken Wagner giving the blessing before the potluck meal. Don Davison shared four photo pictures of John Davison, Elnora (Van Wagoner) Davison, John and Eva Davison, and Dave Davison and family. An account of the life of John Davison was read.

Three deaths, three births, and one marriage were recorded.

Those attending were: Thelma Wagner, Jack and Jan Kiesey, Jerry and Janice Flory, Ken Wagner, Rodney and Joyce Letts, Don and Loretta Gardner, and Raymond Swailes, all of Washington; Cheryl Dahlquist of Keota; Leroy and Janet Bain of Iowa City; Don Davison of Wayland; Larry and Barb Swailes of Crawfordsville; John and Judy Brayton of Centerville; and Kris Storr of Muscatine.

President Swailes informed the group that the reunion will be held the first Sunday of August 2017 at the Community Center, with Thelma Wagner securing the site. Officers will remain the same.
