Dawn Sines, of New London, was named to the Iowa Wesleyan University Summer 2018 Dean's List.
Students exemplifying academic excellence represent the United States and multiple countries. Criteria to be a part of the Dean's List include degree-seeking students taking 12 or more hours per semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Dean's List students may graduate 'with honor” indicated by 'cum laude” on their diploma with an overall career cumulative grade point average of 3.50-3.74. Graduates receive 'magna cum laude for overall cumulative of 3.75-3.89. 'Summa cum laude” represents those students whose overall cumulative GPA is 3.90-4.00 for all coursework.
