Daylily garden open daily

Daylily Gardens, located at 2257 Marigold Blvd., is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day through July 25.

Hundreds of daylilies, some Stout Award winners, will be on display. Popular perennials include ?Big Bird,? a huge yellow daylilly; ?Vanilla Fluff,? a rare scented double daylily; and ?K-2,? a neon orange flower.

?Simply park, walk and enjoy hundreds of stunning species,? said garden owner Lila Williams.

To get to Daylily Gardens, take Highway 1 south to 227th Street, which is the first road over the overpass. Turning left, drive one-quarter mile to arrive at the garden. Visitors are asked to park in the driveway. For information or directions, call 233-8022.
