Delta Kappa Gamma
The Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honor society for women teachers, met Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Washington Library with 13 members present. The guest speaker was drug task force Deputy Sgt. Eric Weber. Weber explained his job and described the hazards involved with making meth. The Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an honor society for women teachers, met Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Washington Library with 13 members present. The guest speaker was drug task force Deputy Sgt. Eric Weber. Weber explained his job and described the hazards involved with making meth. He also stated, in his experience, 100 percent of the time meth users had started by smoking marijuana. Next, members discussed developing a strategic action plan for the chapter. Diane Rinner, Robin McClanahan, Amy Stoltenberg, and Mary Jo Roberts will meet before the next scheduled meeting to begin the process. The next meeting will be Feb. 4, at the Washington Pizza Ranch.
