Dickinson, Daugherty both runner-up at Indian Lake

HARMONY ? Seth Dickinson and Unity Daugherty both finished runner-up on the Indian Lake course to lead the Van Buren cross country teams to a pair of meet victories Tuesday.

Van Buren scored 32 points in the boys race to finish 26 ahead of second-place Central Lee. The Warrior girls tallied 41 points to top Cardinal?s 45.

Dickinson finished with a time of 16:38, and Dalton Haynes was fourth in 17:15. Tyler Runyon finished seventh in 17:45, while Thomas Fitzsimmons was ninth (17:52) and Nolan Lydolph was 10th (17:56). Josh Wenke (11th, 17:57) and Drew Nolting (12th, 18:11) posted alternate times.

In the girls? race, Daugherty finished in 16:36, and Sydney Atwood was next for the Warriors with a fourth-place time of 18:07. Caitlyn Millard finished sixth in 19:01, and Jessie Cassens (14th, 21:32) and Bethany Millard (15th, 21:43) completed the team score. Steph Woodruff (16th, 22:05) and Faith Murphy (19th, 23:21) finished as alternates.
