Discussion on profiling in Fairfield planned Saturday
A meeting and open discussion about profiling and arrest proofing in Fairfield and Iowa is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Fairfield Public Library.

A meeting and open discussion about profiling and arrest proofing in Fairfield and Iowa is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Fairfield Public Library.
American Civil Liberties Union and NAACP are investigating profiling in arrests in Iowa. Profiling can be based on sexual orientation, race, the way a person looks or the car he or she drives.
The meeting will include a discussion on understanding choices as citizens and law enforcement in a diverse environment.
The guest speaker will be Greg Bal, supervising attorney for student legal services at the University of Iowa. Other professionals will join in.
Everyone is welcome, especially young people and parents with teens.
