Was born in Louisa County, graduated from Wapello High School, and had a Columbus address, but her children are WMU graduates.
Married November 23, 1963 at Cairo, Iowa.
Described as compassionate with a wonderful sense of humor.
Worked in the classroom of a WMU coach for many years.
Besides her work in the classroom, she also worked part-time in retail.
One of her children also worked at WMU at one time.
Loved sports and played women’s softball for several years.
Served as a girls' chaperone and a 4-H leader.
Passed away in 2019 at the age of 80.
