Dover Museum to host genealogy program

The Dover Museum in New London will host a program on genealogy Sunday, Aug. 29.
The free program, called “Ancestry Beyond Date - Tell Your Family’s Story,” begins at 1:30 p.m. and will be led by Darlene Lutes, museum board member and former teacher. Lutes will explain how to use genealogical resources available at the Dover Museum and online. Among the topics to be discussed will be plat maps, military records, historical newspapers, and Henry County biographical information.
The Dover Museum is located at 213 W. Main St. in New London.
