The Blair House in Washington will be open to the public from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 12, affording the public a chance to visit this historic landmark of Washington County, which was built in 1880.
Blair House is located prominently on the corner of East Washington Street and Second Avenue in Washington. It is the "little sister" of Terrace Hill, the Iowa governor's residence in Des Moines.
Blair House has been receiving extensive renovation. Please come and see the progress. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
