Dwayne and Georgia Mathews to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Dwayne and Georgia Mathews, of Danville, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary two months early with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 2-4 p.m. at the Danville Station, 102 N. Main.
The couple requests no gifts, only the presence of friends and family.
Dwayne Mathews married Georgia Cash on Dec. 27, 1958, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. They have three children: Debbie Mathews of Mediapolis, Steve (Sandra) Mathews of Charles Town, West Virginia, and Monica (Jim) Myers, of Burlington. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
