English River Watershed Management Authority plans first quarterly meeting

The English River Watershed Management Authority will hold its quarterly board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in the banquet room at Parkside Activity Center, located at 525 13th St. in Wellman.

Guest speaker Amy Bouska, urban conservationist with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, will kick off the meeting with a short presentation and time for questions about municipal stormwater management and water quality improvements project ideas and resources.

The agenda for this meeting includes updates and discussion about the organization?s activities, the ongoing watershed assessment project, and the budget.
