EPA Septic Smart Week underway

The Jefferson County Environmental Health Department is letting everyone know the EPA Septic Smart Week started Monday, Sept. 16, and continues through Friday, Sept. 20.
'It encourages people with private septic systems to learn about taking proper care of them. It's an expensive part of your house so it's smart to take care of it” said Dan Miller, head of Jefferson County Environmental Health Department.
