Evangelist to speak Friday night

Evangelist Jack Yost of Berwick, Pa., president and founder of the Yost Evangelistic Ministry, will be speaking at the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church of rural Wayland, on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m.

Since 1952, Yost has been a full-time evangelist, with a ministry that has led him into many areas giving him a wealth of experience in preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A keen insight for the needs of people has been acquired by Yost in his work with local churches. Crusades have been held both in the United States and Canada. Evangelist Yost is a graduate of Bob Jones University.

Jack has been an avid sportsman, a concerned citizen, and a dedicated husband and father of four grown daughters. He has the capacity to gain and hold the interest of a wide spectrum of hearers.

Pastor Bob Spilger and the congregation of the Fern Cliff Evangelical Free Church extend a cordial welcome to the greater community to this evening. There will be a free-will offering received to aid the Yosts in their itinerant evangelistic ministry. Following the service on Friday evening there will be a time of refreshments and fellowship in the church?s fellowship area.
