The United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield will have a breakfast at 7 a.m. June 1.
Church circle meeting June 5
BIRMINGHAM ? The Rebekah Circle of Birmingham United Methodist Church will meet at 7 p.m. June 5.
Concert June 5 at Douds church
DOUDS ? Zion Bible Church will present Evidence in a musical concert at 7 p.m. June 5.
Evidence is from Calvary Bible College and Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Mo. The group consists of 13 college students who will present a concert of a variety of music and testimonies designed to encourage and uplift all who attend.
The public is invited to attend. An optional love offering will be received for the music team.

Vacation Bible school planned in Richland
RICHLAND ? The Richland area ecumenical vacation Bible school, ?Armor Quest in Search of the Armor of God,? will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. June 17-21 at the Richland United Methodist Church for all 4-year-old through sixth-grade community children.
Parents, family and friends are invited to attend the vacation Bible school program at 7 p.m. June 21.
Anyone older than sixth grade is invited to help during the week to earn community service hours or just have fun helping make the community endeavor a success.
Adults also are needed to assist during the evening activities. Helpers are needed to bake cookies, care for children, make crafts, help with music, games and recreation, and more.
Decorations and costumes also are needed that fit the ?Armor of God? theme.

Basal Faith Parish plans ?cowboy church? June 9
BIRMINGHAM ? Basal Faith Parish, which includes Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville and the United Methodist churches in Birmingham and Stockport, will have worship in the park and its annual conference at 10 a.m. June 9 at the Birmingham City Park shelter.
Everyone is invited to attend ?cowboy church? at 10 a.m., and stay for a potluck meal.
Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share. Meat and drink will be provided.
No service will be held at Faith United Methodist in Libertyville.
