Expensive collision on W. Washington St.
Total damages were estimated at $15,000 following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in the 200 block of West Washington Street, in Mt. Pleasant. According to the accident report, a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup, owned and operated by Dale Robertson, no address given, was traveling west in the inside lane of West Washington Street and attempted to make a right turn into the alley.

Total damages were estimated at $15,000 following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday in the 200 block of West Washington Street, in Mt. Pleasant. According to the accident report, a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup, owned and operated by Dale Robertson, no address given, was traveling west in the inside lane of West Washington Street and attempted to make a right turn into the alley.
Robertson failed to observe a 2009 Freightliner tractor/trailer, operated by Joshua Stortz and owned by Triple Seven Trucking, causing a collision. Stortz had been traveling west in the outside lane of West Washington, prior to Robertson turning in front of him. No injuries were reported at the scene.
Robertson was cited for turning from an improper lane.
