Faculty jazz recital Tuesday at Indian Hills
OTTUMWA ? Saxophonist David Sharp, professor of instrumental music and jazz at Indian Hills Community College, will present a faculty jazz recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. John Auditorium on the Ottumwa campus.
The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert is free and open to the public.
Accompanying Sharp will be four of the most outstanding jazz musicians from Des Moines: Jim Oatts on trumpet, Sam Salomone on piano, Steve Charlson on bass and John Kizilarmut on drums.
The quintet will perform a variety of original compositions and well-known jazz and popular standards.
Sharp is in his 14th year at Indian Hills.
