Fairfield Art Association announces ‘A Day With Oil Paint’

The Fairfield Art Association will be hosting ‘A Day With Oil Paint’ on Sept. 13. This one day workshop will be with Washington Artist Mike Canas in the FAA Studio in the FA&CC from 9 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 13. The class is for adults at all artistic levels — beginner to experienced.
Mike is an award winning artist and will share his techniques and the application of color theory when mixing and applying oil paint. These may be applied to developing your own way of working. There will be ample time in class to paint.
Some materials will be available, but participants may bring what they have. Cost of the full day class is $50. You should register ahead at FAA Studio (open Tuesday — Friday from 1-5 p.m.), or you can email suzan1252@aol.com
It is recommended you sign up soon, as class size will be limited.
