Fairfield bowling teams challenge for conference title in Washington
The Fairfield bowling team competed at the Southeast Conference tournament Saturday in Washington.
The meet was marred by some technical difficulties with the lanes. Equipment malfunction caused all the teams to work together to switch up the lane assignments and get the meet completed in an orderly fashion.

The Fairfield bowling team competed at the Southeast Conference tournament Saturday in Washington.
The meet was marred by some technical difficulties with the lanes. Equipment malfunction caused all the teams to work together to switch up the lane assignments and get the meet completed in an orderly fashion.

The Fairfield boys? team earned a second place finish behind Mt. Pleasant. Cody Craff, who earned first team all-conference with his effort, bowled a round one 371 to lead the Trojans. Kyle Ruckman, Eric Swan, Chet Vogt and Andrew Chatfield earned second team all-conference.
The girls? team was not as lucky, finishing fourth out of four teams. Madelyn Swan, who?s first round 351 earned her a spot on the all-conference first team, led the girls? squad.
Fairfield traveled to Muscatine for district competition today.
