Fairfield Cultural Alliance seeks award nominees

Nominations are now open for the Fairfield Cultural Alliance 2012 Cultural Contribution Award.

The purpose of the Fairfield Cultural Alliance?s annual Cultural Contribution Award is to recognize groups or individuals for helping to enhance the quality of life in Fairfield by creating, directing, or promoting artistic and/or cultural activities, works of art, or events in Fairfield for that calendar year.

Nominations should include the name of the individual or organization, plus a few sentences about why they are deserving of the recognition. Contact information for the nominee, plus the name and contact information of the person submitting the nomination should be included.

Nominations are due by Oct. 15.

The Cultural Contribution Award will be presented at the Fairfield Cultural Alliance?s annual Networking Gala at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at ICON Gallery.
