Fairfield Elks to hold fundraising dinner Thursday

The Fairfield Elks will hold an Oktoberfest-themed fundraiser Thursday for local athletes.
The event is from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on the west side of the square, and features food, polka and a German game called Hammerschlagen. Carry out is available by calling 641-472-2171. The event is open to the public.
