On Nov. 11, 2019, we held our annual Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Mentor Night in the Fairfield High School Commons starting at 5:30 p.m. We had 18 business professionals from our community come and share with our FBLA Members all about their careers and businesses. The students moved from table to table every seven minutes and got to ask questions and hear from each mentor.
This was an invaluable experience for our students. It not only gave them much-needed information in their upcoming projects and presentations for State and National competition but also gave insight to 18 different career paths.
We want to thank the Friends of Student Business Leaders Group for planning the evening for FBLA: Co-Presidents: Beth Ward and Lindsay Haskins, Shelly Burnett, Diana Drish, Sage Ghent, Bonnie Hilger, Taruna Pharasi and Joni Stever.
