Fairfield First Fridays will host a virtual carnival at 6 p.m. Friday.

The event will feature jazz and blues music, and carnival/Mardi Gras-themed activities.

To see the carnival, go to Fairfield First Friday's Facebook page. Jenny Sammons and Lorelei Oliver will provide music.

Participants will hear about Mardi Gras recipes and traditions.
