Fairfield Homecoming Week starts Monday

The Fairfield Community School District will celebrate Homecoming Week Sept. 20-24, culminating in the varsity football game against Keokuk.
The following is a schedule of events issued by Fairfield High School, including dress-up days for each day of the week:
Monday – “‘PAJAMA DAY”
King & Queen Assembly at 2:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium
Tuesday – “TACKY TOURIST DAY”
Wednesday – “COUNTRY/COWBOY DAY”
Thursday – “COLOR DAY”
(Seniors-White, Juniors- Pink, Sophomores-Green, Freshmen-Blue, All Staff-Red)
Iron Man Volleyball at 2:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium
Pep rally at 7:30 p.m. at Trojan Stadium featuring:
- Cheerleader performance
- Band Performance
- Powder Puff Game
- King & Queen Crowning
- Bonfire
- Pep Talk –Coach Nate Weaton
Friday – “FHS ORANGE & BLACK SPIRIT DAY”
(Show your school spirit with Orange and Black)
Wall of Honor assembly at 9 a.m. in the FHS Auditorium recognizing Jim Edgeton, Jill Burnett, James Cornick and Sally Rinehart Johnston
Parade at 2 p.m.
Central Park Rally at approximately 2:35 p.m. featuring:
- Homecoming Dance (Cheerleaders)
- School & Fight Song (Band and Cheerleaders)
- Candy contest winner announced
- Baby picture winners announced
- Float winner announced
- Homecoming Court and King & Queen announced
- Pep Talk
Football game
Freshman game at 5 p.m.
Varsity at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Dance from 9 p.m. until midnight
