Fairfield library hosting Science Cafe March 9

The first virtual Science Cafe of 2021 will be hosted by the Fairfield Public Library on Tuesday March 9 from 5-6 p.m. The topic is 'Advances in cancer immunotherapy” by Dr. George Weiner.

Dr. Weiner holds these titles: Director, Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Professor of Internal Medicine, Professor of Pharmaceutical Science Experimental Therapeutics.

The library's next Science Cafe after that will be on Tuesday, April 20, from 7-8 p.m. That topic will be on scaffolds for bone regeneration, presented by Dr. Aliasger Salem.
