N/A
Sep. 8, 2019 7:22 pm
The Fairfield Public Library will show a free film Friday, Sept. 13.
The live-action animated comedy film is about a fictional bear character. The movie is based on beloved British children's stories about the bear. This 2017 film is a sequel to one released in 2014. One actor voices the bear character, with other people in live-action roles.
In the film, the bear character is now happily settled with a family and has become a popular member of the local community. The bear decides upon the perfect present for his aunt's 100th birthday: a unique pop-up book of London, which he plans to buy at a certain antiques shop. So the bear performs several odd jobs, and saves his wages, but the book is stolen from the shop. The bear gives chase, but the culprit escapes, and the bear is framed and arrested for a crime he didn't commit.
The movie is rated PG. Runtime is 2 hours.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the film starts at 7:30 p.m.
Donations for organic popcorn help the library renew its movie license.
The license does not allow the library to advertise the title of the movie it is showing. For detailed information go the Fairfield Public Library's calendar on the website http://www2.youseemore.com/fairfield.
