Fairfield library to host Poetry Club

Join Fairfield Public Library staff members Alecs Mickunas and Sean Charleston for Poetry Club the last Thursday of every month at the library. The next meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26.

Participants are encouraged to bring a poem they would like to read and discuss together. The poem you select may be one by a favorite poet or a poem you have written yourself. If you would like us to make copies of your chosen poem, email the poem to circ@fairfield.lib.ia.us and a librarian will bring them to the meeting for you.

This event is for all ages and open to the general public. Poetry Club now meets in-person outdoors in front of the library (or in the meeting room in the case of rain or extreme temperatures).
