Fairfield library to host program on sustainability Thursday

The Fairfield Public Library will host an online Science Cafe on Thursday, Oct. 15. The program will be on 'Rethinking Sustainability: Meaningful Steps Towards an Equitable Future,” presented by Stratis Giannakouros, director of the University of Iowa Office of Sustainability. The event will be from 5-6 p.m. over Zoom.

According to a promotional flyer for the event, 'The planetary shift towards a sustainable future requires us to focus on the role our systems and institutions play in either limiting or expanding the success of our individual actions.
