Fairfield Middle School announces Student of the Month for September

Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School 'Students of the Month” award. The purpose of this award is to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school. These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The 'Students of the Month” certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade level teaching team.

Sarayu Tejada has been selected as the 5th grade Student of the Month for September. Sarayu works hard and gives 100%. She is responsible and keeps up with her online learning on the days that she is at home. She makes sure she always fills out her assignment journal and gets it signed each week. She participates in class and is always wanting to learn. Sarayu is a quiet leader and I know I can count on her! Way to go, Sarayu!!! Congratulations!

Vincent Craun was chosen to receive the September Student of the Month Award. He is completing all his virtual work online in a great way. He does a great job asking questions and following along in class on zoom meetings. He stays very organized and emails me back in a timely manner about conference times, work questions, etc. He is motivated to do well in class and it shows. Keep working hard, Vincent!

The 6th grade team is proud to announce Kayley Snowgren as our Student of the Month for September. Kayley is a leader in the classroom. She works well with those who need help around her, even when she isn't asked to do so. Kayley has a strong work ethic and a strong desire to learn. She has made a seamless transition to 6th Grade. Congratulations Kayley, and keep up the good work!

The 6th grade team is proud to announce that Carson Lovelady is the recipient of the September Student of the Month Award. Carson is a personable young man who loves to learn. He is a very hard worker who strives to do his best in class each day. HIs level of integrity and being dependable is outstanding! Congratulations, Carson, and keep up the great work!

The 7th grade team would like to congratulate Bailey Belzer on being selected by her teachers as the student of the month for September. Bailey was actually the 6th grade winner from March of 2020, but has still been doing well as a 7th grader. Bailey brings a positive attitude to class with her every day. She is a leader in the classroom that takes great responsibility in turning in quality work. She is also willing to help her classmates with classroom activities. Keep up the good work! Congratulations, Bailey!

The 7th grade team would like to congratulate 7th grader Archer Kreuter on being selected as the Student of the Month for September. Archer was actually the 6th grade winner from March of 2020, but has still been doing outstanding things as a 7th grade young man. Archer has a great sense of humor, and never fails to brighten someone's day. He has an amazing work ethic, great attitude, and participates in class on a regular basis. Archer is always willing to work with anyone and doesn't hesitate to help his classmates. Keep up the great work, Archer!

The 8th grade team is proud to announce that Jessica Martens has been chosen as our Student of the Month! Jessica, who has spent just a little more than a month back in school, has managed to truly embrace Trojan PRIDE. She is always willing to help out a fellow student by further explaining directions they may have missed or by giving some much needed guidance in a kind and caring manner. She is a thoughtful and polite young lady who exudes confidence. Congratulations Jessica!

Landen Pilcher exemplifies what a true student-athlete should look like and is the 8th grade team's choice for Student of the Month. He is a quiet leader on and off the football field. With courtesy and grace, he always shows respect for his fellow classmates and teachers. He is a well-mannered young man which shows in his words and actions. Congrats Landen!
