Fairfield Municipal Band concerts begin Tuesday
The Fairfield Municipal Band will begin its summer season Tuesday, with an 8 p.m. concert in Central Park.
The summer outdoor concert series, sponsored by the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department, is made up of six concerts on Tuesday and June 21 and 28 before a short break. The concerts return in July on July 19, 26, and the last one is on Aug. 2.

The Fairfield Municipal Band will begin its summer season Tuesday, with an 8 p.m. concert in Central Park.
The summer outdoor concert series, sponsored by the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department, is made up of six concerts on Tuesday and June 21 and 28 before a short break. The concerts return in July on July 19, 26, and the last one is on Aug. 2.
This is the 29th year that the Fairfield Municpal Band has provided concerts in the park.
The band is made up of musicians from Fairfield and surrounding communities who enjoy playing and providing music for the summer outdoor series.
The Fairfield Ledger will print the program for each concert in the prior day?s newspaper.
