Fairfield native Kurtz graduates law school

Antonia Kurtz of St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Richard and Yvonne (Ivana) Kurtz of Fairfield, is graduating Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) with a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul. Commencement was held on Sunday, June 6. Kurtz was born in Fairfield and attended Washington School.

While at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, she was a student leader for Legal Methods and a student director for the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender's Office. She clerked at several criminal defense law firms and interned at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She was published in the Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Policy and was involved in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

Upon passing the bar, Kurtz plans to practice criminal and family law at the John Lesch Law Firm, LLC in St. Paul.
