Thanks to the generosity of local donors and recent weeding efforts in the adult fiction collection, inventory exceeds 250 boxes, said Rebecca Johnson, director of the Fairfield library. The boxes will be swapped out on Sept. 23 at closing so browsers will enjoy a fresh inventory on Sept. 24.
After the early-bird sale Friday, the sale continues during normal library hours: 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; and 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
