N/A
Aug. 20, 2019 3:21 pm
The Fairfield Public Library will show a free film on Friday, Aug, 23.
Because the film is three hours and one minute long, an earlier-than-usual start time is planned at 7 p.m.
The 2019 American superhero film is the fourth film in a series that is based on a comic book superhero team. The last sequel left off with the universe in ruins after the devastating events of a war. With the help of remaining allies, the superhero team assembles once more in order to reverse a villain's actions and restore balance to the universe.
The film has grossed nearly $2.8 billion worldwide and is the highest-grossing film of all time. It also is one of the most expensive films ever made.
The fourth installment of this superhero series is the once-in-a-lifetime culmination of 22 interconnected films and the climax of an epic journey. Earth's heroes will finally understand how fragile reality really is - and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it ... in a story of friendship, teamwork and setting aside differences to overcome an impossible obstacle.
The action/adventure/sci-fi movie is rated PG-13.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 7 p.m.
Organic popcorn will be available for a donation. Donations help renew the library's movie license.
The library's movie license does not allow it to advertise the title of the movies it is showing. For detailed information, go the Fairfield Public Library's calendar on the website at http://www2.youseemore.com/fairfield.
