On Wednesday, Sept. 23, members and friends of Jefferson County Right to Life placed memorial crosses on the lawn of Immanuel Lutheran Church as part of the '40 Days for Life.” The group announced that the purpose of the event is to 'remember the lives that are lost through abortion. This was to mark the beginning of the Fall 2020 40 Days for Life campaign, a 40 day period of prayer, fasting, and community outreach to end abortion.” The campaign will end Nov. 1. Residents can find out more information by going to www.40DaysforLife.com.
