Fairfield School Menu: Jan. 14-18, 2013

Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.

Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal bar or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: burrito, romaine, tomato, cucumber slices, fresh apple, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, apple cinnamon muffin, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter/jelly or cereal/Nutri-Grain bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: cook?s choice, lima beans, carrots, strawberries, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: barbecued pork on bun, sweet potato puffs, baked beans, fresh orange, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, breakfast cookie, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, blueberry, apple or banana muffin, orange juice and milk. Lunch: breaded pork patty, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli, banana, wheat roll with butter, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Jan. 18 ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted Nutri-Grain bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs or cereal/Nutri-Grain Bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey and cheese on bun, green beans, peas, peach halves, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.
