Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.
Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal bar or Nutri-Grain Bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: chicken patty on a bun, sweet potato fries, green beans, pineapple, fruit choice for 9-12, and milk.
Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, peanut butter/jelly sandwich, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter/jelly or cereal/Nutri-Grain Bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: corn dog, baked beans, mixed vegetables, fresh grapes, fruit choice for grades 9-12, and milk.
Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: goulash, romaine/spinach salad, tomato/cucumber slices, applesauce, fruit choice for grades 9-12, garlic bread, and milk.
Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, plain bagel/jelly, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast and butter/jelly, or cereal/Nutri-Grain Bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey/cheese wrap, carrots, cauliflower, fruit cocktail, fruit choice for grades 9-12, bread and butter sandwich for grades 9-12, and milk.
Feb. 1? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted Nutri-Grain Bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs or cereal/Nutri-Grain Bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: whole-grain cheese pizza, peas, corn, fresh orange, fruit choice for grades 9-12, and milk.
