Fairfield School Menu: Jan. 7-11, 2013

Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.

Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals and cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: pig in a blanket, corn, broccoli with cheese, fresh apple, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, egg omelet, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter and jelly or cereal or Nutri-Grain bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: spaghetti and meat sauce, peas, cauliflower, fresh grapes, garlic bread, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: fajita chicken wrap, romaine lettuce, carrots, mixed fruit, fluffy rice, cookie, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, scrambled eggs, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, blueberry, apple or banana muffin, orange juice and milk. Lunch: walking taco, refried beans, tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, pineapple tidbits, bread and butter sandwich, milk, plus fruit choice for grades 9-12.

Jan. 11 ? no school; teachers? workday.
