Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.
Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal bar or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: Chicken patty on a bun, sweet potato fries, green beans, pineapple rings, tomatoes and fruit choice for grades 9-12, and milk.
Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, breakfast cookie, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter/jelly or cereal/Nutri-Grain bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: corn dog, baked beans, mixed vegetables, pear halves, tomatoes and fruit choice for grades 9-12, and milk.
Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: goulash, romaine and spinach salad, tomato and cucumber slices, applesauce, fruit choice for grades 9-12, garlic bread, and milk.
Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, strawberry muffin with butter, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, strawberry muffin with butter, orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey and cheese wrap, carrots, cauliflower, fruit cocktail, tomatoes, fruit choice and bread and butter for grades 9-12, and milk.
March 15 ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted Nutri-Grain bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs or cereal/Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: whole-grain cheese pizza, peas, corn, fresh orange, tomatoes and fruit choice for grades 9-12, and milk.
