Fairfield School Menu: Sept. 10-14, 2012

The Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.

Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal bar or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: Sloppy Joe on bun, golden corn, fresh grapes, milk.

Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: peanut butter and jelly sandwich, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter and jelly, orange juice and milk. Lunch: Tater Tot Casserole, carrots, chewy maple granola bar, chilled fruit cocktail, milk.

Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: mandarin orange chicken, brown rice, mixed vegetables, chilled pineapple, milk.

Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, egg omelet, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, blueberry, apple or banana muffin, orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey hot dog on bun, black beans, carrot and celery sticks, fresh apple, milk.

Sept. 14 ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted Nutri-Grain bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs, orange juice and milk. Lunch: cheeseburger on bun, broccoli, chilled peaches, milk.
