The Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.
Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals and cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal bar or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: hamburger on bun, romaine lettuce and tomato, sweet potato fries, fruit cocktail, crispy rice bar, milk.
Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, banana nut muffin, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter and jelly, orange juice and milk. Lunch: chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, banana, wheat roll for grades six through 12, milk.
Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: chili with whole-grain crackers, carrot sticks, cinnamon roll, orange smiles, milk.
Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, blueberry, apple or banana muffin, orange juice and milk. Lunch: baked ham, sweet potato fluff, green beans, peaches, angel biscuit with jelly, milk.
Sept. 26 ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals and Nutri-Grain bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs, orange juice and milk. Lunch: cheeseburger helper, seasoned peas, carrots for grades six through 12, whole-wheat bread with jelly for grades nine through 12, fresh apple, milk.
