Fairfield Schools Menu

Fairfield Community School District has listed its breakfast and lunch menu for the coming week.

Monday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals and cereal bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, cereal or Nutri-Grain bar; orange juice and milk. Lunch: hamburger on bun, romaine, tomato, sweet potato puffs, mixed fruit, milk, plus fruit for grades nine through 12.

Tuesday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, blueberry muffin, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, wheat toast with butter and jelly or cereal or Nutri-Grain bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, peaches, frosted cinnamon roll, milk, plus fruit for grades nine through 12.

Wednesday ? breakfast: late start; no meal served. Lunch: sliced ham on bun, baked beans, peas, pears, milk, and fruit for grades nine through 12.

Thursday ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, breakfast cookie, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, blueberry, apple or banana muffin, orange juice and milk. Lunch: chili, crackers, carrot sticks, celery sticks, fresh apple, milk, plus peanut butter sandwich for grades six through 12 and fruit for grades nine through 12.

Dec. 21 ? breakfast at the middle school and high school: assorted cereals, assorted Nutri-Grain bars, orange juice and milk; breakfast at the elementary schools: assorted cereals, scrambled, patty or omelet eggs or cereal/Nutri-Grain Bar, orange juice and milk. Lunch: turkey fritter on bun, corn, mixed vegetables, pineapple rings, milk.
