Heather Buckley
Washington Elementary, Principal
Heather graduated from Fairfield High School. She received her BA in elementary education from the U o I, an MA in curriculum and instruction. She has been in education for 23 years, teaching in Kansas City, Fairfield and then Cardinal as an elementary principal before returning to Fairfield.
Allison Rebling
Washington Elementary, Kindergarten
Allison graduated from Fairfield High School and earned her BA in education from Graceland University. She likes the community support for students and the friendliness of a small town. She also enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors and reading.
Shay Drish
Pence Elementary, 2nd Grade Teacher
Shay graduated from Fairfield and University of Northern Iowa with a BA in elementary education. She comes to FCSD from Cardinal CSD where she was a second grade teacher.
Faith Thomas
Fairfield Middle School, 8th Grade ELA
Faith graduated from Ottumwa High School, then attended IHCC for her AA and graduated from Iowa State University with a BA in education. She enjoys traveling, reading and exercise.
Jamie Klett
Fairfield Middle School, Special Education
Jamie graduated from Fairfield High School. She was an associate at Pence before attaining her teaching degree and moving to the Middle School as a Special Education Teacher. She enjoys being part of a close knit smaller community. She likes to spend time with her family, reading and traveling.
Jessica Hervey
Fairfield High School, Special Education
Jessica graduated from Sigourney High School and William Penn University with a BA in Elementary Education and K-8 Strat I in Special Education.
Katie Van Pelt
Fairfield High School, Business Teacher
Katie is originally from Cedar Rapids, graduating from Linn Marr and then from UNI. She worked and mentored FBLA students before becoming a teacher. She likes to travel and spend time with her friends and family.
Jeannie Horras
Fairfield Middle School, 5th Grade Teacher
Jeannie graduated high school from United Township HS in East Moline, IL and from William Penn with a BA in Elementary Education.
Bethany LaRose
District Community Support Specialist
Bethany graduated from Fairfield High School and then from William Penn University with a BS in Biology. She is an LPN and comes to us from JCHC where she was Clinic Care Coordinator.
