Fairfield Streetsweepers’ Ball Saturday
The Fairfield Beautification Commission and Fairfield Young Professionals are joining forces for another 'Streetsweepers' Ball” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 29. Volunteers of all ages will be sweeping, weeding and generally tidying up Central Park in Fairfield and a block in all directions. Volunteers will receive special caps and gloves, and enjoy music and refreshments. They are asked to BYOB (Bring Your Own Broom), but are encouraged to come even if they don't have their own gardening tools.
'The community is invited to join the fun as we beautify Fairfield,” stated a news release from the Beautification Commission.
