Fairfield Toastmasters to hold ‘Telling Tales’ event Feb. 18

Take a break from the cold and experience heartwarming stories at the Golden Speakers Toastmasters' Telling Tales event at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at the Fairfield Public Library. This event will showcase both local talent as well as lively Toastmasters from across Iowa. Toastmaster storytellers will recount astonishing tales with plenty of laughs and important lessons as well.

Toastmasters International is a 96-year-old global leadership and communication organization dedicated to empowering members to develop oral communication and leadership skills to foster self-confidence and personal growth. It has 352,000 members and 16,400 clubs in over 135 countries. Golden Speakers Toastmasters of Fairfield has served the community for 30 years and welcomes people from all types of backgrounds and interests.

Organizers ask those attending to arrive promptly at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend, refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome.
